"Add and Edit Text on Squarespace" by grovo.com | @Grovo http://grovo.com/squarespace Adjust the formatting of your text on your site. Squarespace's text formatting tools are similar to those found in other word processing or blogging platforms. To add a text block, add a content block and choose "Text." It will appear on your page with the words "Click here to begin typing..." in grey letters. As you type, you will see a bar with a list of options that are similar to those in other word processing or blogging software, for adding: bold or italic text hyperlinks headers block quotes and numbered or bulleted lists. You can also remove formatting from any text. To remove the text block, click the trashcan icon. When you are done typing, click outside of the block. Note that when you are moving other blocks, you can insert them between paragraphs of your text blocks. This will cause your text block to split, such that removing one block will not remove the other. To move a text block, mouse over and click and drag the four way arrow that appears in the upper left corner. Be aware that moving two text blocks directly next to each other vertically will effectively merge them and they will then be moved and deleted as one.
